Plug Valve



Aimed but not limited to gas and oil, paper and pulp, water and drain, refineries, chemical and construction industries. Plug steel valves are used to prevent internal leakage.

This line of products is offered in Classes 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500 and 2500#    Sizes from 2’’ to 36’’ nominal diameter.

The line of products is the following:

-Lubricated steel plug valves compensator type, (inverted cap) is manufactured in 3 models: short, regular and ventury in sizes from ½’’ (8 mm) to 36’’ (900 mm) and pressures in accordance to ASME B16.34, 150 (PN20), 300 (PN 50), 900 (PN 150), 1500 (PN 260) and 2500 (PN 420).

-Lubricated steel plug valves compensator type API class 2000, 3000 and 5000#, sizes from 2 ½’’ to 4’’, 1/6’’ in diameter.

-Normal cap plug valves are manufactured in 3 models: short, regular and ventury in sizes from ½’’ (8 mm) to 36’’ (900 mm) and pressures in accordance to ASME B16.34 in 150 (PN 20), 300 (PN 50) and 600 (PN 110).

-Steel plug valves for gas service in regular model from ¾’’ to 2’’ and class 150# (200 CWP).

-Low alloy steels such as WC1, WC5, WC6, WC9, etc.

Design features

-Lubricated steel plug valves type compensator (inverted cap) and lubricated steel plug valves type Top Entry (normal cap) comply with the specifications in accordance to API-6D and API-599.

-Mechanical sway to avoid the cap to clog in the valve.

-Lifted face flanged ends or ring type gasket, threaded or welded ends.

-Meets the fire test in accordance to APi-6FA.

-Flange in accordance to ANSI/ASME B16.5.

-Lever operation; gear operator; electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic actuator in accordance to client’s requirements.

-Bidirectional.

-Tests in accordance to API-6D.

-Walseal sealant for different applications.
